Preserving the Harvest: Preserving Strawberries

Join University of Maine Cooperative Extension food preservation staff for a lively discussion and demonstration on how to preserve Maine foods throughout our growing season. In this session, we will:

  • Demonstrate preserving low-sugar jam and freezing strawberries
  • Discuss low-sugar pectins and alternative sweeteners
  • Explain how to use frozen fruit in jams and jellies
  • Answer your questions
