Makerspace Mavens

Started in 2015, this group meets about 10 times a year for community, education, and fun.  Although the majority of our group members are in their 30s-40s, with young children, we are a multi-generational group with several women age 60+.  We do not have a regularly scheduled meeting day or time.  Instead, we tend to meet whenever it works out best for everyone – month to month – usually at the Falmouth Extension office.

2020 Educational programs planned include:

January 18th: Cooking for those with Allergies and Gluten Sensitivities, 12:00 – 3:00 PM

February 6th: Sexuality, 7:30 – 10:00 PM

March 12th: Mending Sashiko Stitching, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Extension Office

April 8th: Lobster Mats, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Extension Office

May 21st: Beeswax Crafts: Wraps and Candles, time TBA, Extension Office

June TBA: Cocktails with Kate

July: Summer Recess

August: Summer Recess

September 10th: Eco Drying, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Extension Office

October 22nd: Crockpot Building Session, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Extension Office

November 19th: Minimalist Living, 333 Clothing Plan, Zero Waste, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Extension Office

December 6th: Wreaths, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Extension Office
