Mary works with farmers, food processors, and food service workers to help them to improve the food safety environment of their farm and facilities. Clients become more food safety competent, confident, and knowledgeable. At Extension, she works with clients individually and via workshops and classes to assist them with understanding how food safety practices may affect the quality, consistency, and food safety of their products.

Robson has statewide responsibilities in helping Maine farmers and food entrepreneurs develop safe foods, while assisting processors to address changing regulations when commercializing local food and beverage products.
