Herb Yogurt Dip

Enhance your snacks with this protein-rich Herb Yogurt Dip infused with zesty garlic, onion, and aromatic dill. A dash of lemon and optional herbs provide a burst of freshness, perfect for dipping your favorite vegetables.

Servings 5 3 tablespoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons light mayo
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chives, or parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water. If using fresh herbs, gently rinse under cold running water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
  • Try dip and adjust seasoning based on flavor preference.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
  • Use leftovers within 4 days.

Notes

  • Choose yogurt based on preference. The final product may vary in texture, consistency, and flavor depending on the yogurt choice.
  • Serve with raw vegetables or crackers.
  • Swap out seasonings if you prefer different flavors.
