Oatmeal, Strawberry, Banana Smoothie

Start your day with this refreshing Oatmeal Strawberry Banana Smoothie, combining the goodness of oats, sweet strawberries, and creamy banana for delicious breakfast option packed with fiber and vitamins.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup oats (quick or old-fashioned oats)
  • ¾ cup non-fat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup fat-free milk
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen), sliced
  • ½ cup strawberries (fresh or frozen), sliced
  • 4 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water.
  • Blend old-fashioned rolled oats in a dry blender until it becomes a powder.
  • Add yogurt, milk, and cinnamon (optional) to the oatmeal powder and blend together.
  • Add banana and strawberries to the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add ice cubes for a thicker smoothie (optional).

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
