Ranch Salad Dressing
Create your own Ranch Salad Dressing by blending mayonnaise, buttermilk, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. A cost-friendly alternative without sacrificing the classic ranch flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 cup buttermilk or light sour cream or low-fat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Flavor Variations (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- Make buttermilk (optional).
- If using fresh herbs, gently rinse under cold running water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl with a fork or wire whisk.
- Chill in the refrigerator.
Storage
- Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
- Use leftovers within 4 days.
