Ranch Salad Dressing

Create your own Ranch Salad Dressing by blending mayonnaise, buttermilk, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. A cost-friendly alternative without sacrificing the classic ranch flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 cup buttermilk or light sour cream or low-fat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Flavor Variations (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Make buttermilk (optional).
  • If using fresh herbs, gently rinse under cold running water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl with a fork or wire whisk.
  • Chill in the refrigerator.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
  • Use leftovers within 4 days.
