Tomato Crouton Casserole

Serves: 10

Ingredients

6 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
8 slices whole grain bread, cubed
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

  1. Arrange tomatoes in a greased 13-in.x 9-in. pan.
  2. Top with bread cubes.
  3. Combine butter or margarine, basil and thyme; drizzle over bread and tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until tomatoes are tender.
