Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation Education Scholarship
(Moose Permit Auction Funds) awards have changed. Funding is made available through money raised by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s annual moose permit auction. These scholarships are for Maine residents only, and are all one time use only and first come, first served. No application necessary! Simply register by making a deposit of $50 for the program of your choice from the selection below. Our registrations staff keeps an eye on reservations as they come in and if we notice your child has not received a scholarship in the past we will add your child to our waiting list but please feel free to reach out to us at registration.bp@maine.edu to inquire if you have been added to the list. Because this funding is through a grant process we typically do not get confirmation of the funding till early to mid May. Once we receive confirmation we go through our waiting list apply the scholarship sending the family a receipt. Please reach out to us with any questions you may have.

$400.00 Scholarship will be awarded toward the following program:
- Conservation Camp (Hunter Safety Firearms or Hunter Safety Archery) (ages 10-13)
- Fishing Camp (ages 10-13)
- Naturalist Camp (10-13)
Greenland Point 4-H Shooting Sports Scholarship
These scholarships are available to all youths in the amount of $300.00. Given out on a first come first served. An can be applied toward the following programs.
- Shooting Sports Archery Camp (ages 13-15)
- Shooting Sports Rifle & Shotgun Camp (ages 13-15)
- Shooting Sports Camp (ages 13-15)
- Conservation Camp (Hunter Safety Firearms or Hunter Safety Archery) (ages 10-13)
