Nestled along the banks of Long Lake, the Greenland Point 4-H Camp boasts some of the best fishing Maine has to offer! Learn how to fish for trout, bass, and other freshwater species and take an in-depth look at water ecology, fish ecology, and habitats. The week is spent practicing new techniques, using different lures and baits, and searching for “the big one”! Other exciting camp activities will be enjoyed throughout the week such as survival skills, hiking, games, and so much more. Each camper will participate in the Maine boater safety Program during the week and will have the opportunity to earn their boaters safety certification.
