Wilderness Survival (ages 10-13)
In this exciting new program for 2024, you will learn to live away from modern technology and reconnect with the natural world in a beautiful back-country environment. Our days will be spent working on various skills as we follow the Order of Survival focusing on shelter building and community living. Tracking skills, sensory awareness, foraging, tool craft, and water purification lessons are just a sample of skills that will be incorporated. Discover the art of camouflage and silent stalking to put it to use observing wild animals. Evenings will be spent around the campfire, building friendships with your new community of survivalists. Time will also be spent enjoying canoeing, swimming, and other activities. In this program, campers will live at our remote campsite. All tents and camping gear will be provided by the camp. Sleeping bags available for use upon request.
