Scholarships

PLEASE NOTE: In order to allow us to offer scholarships to as many families as possible, we ask that campers take advantage of only one scholarship at a time. Thank you for your understanding.

No application necessary! Simply ask for the IF&W Scholarship on the camp registration form, or write in your preference for any of the other scholarships available. If registering online please notate your desire to receive a scholarship in the comment section of your registration. Please note all of our scholarships are given out as first come, first served.

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation Education Scholarship (Moose Permit Auction Funds) awards have changed. Funding is made available through money raised by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s annual moose permit auction. These scholarships are for Maine residents only, and are all one time only and first come, first served.

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife conservation education scholarships may now be used for any of the following programs:

$300.00 Scholarship will be awarded toward the following program:

$200.00 Scholarship will be awarded toward the following program:

Mahoosuc Region Youth Scholarship – All have been allocated for 2017 check back in 2018
Participants who reside in Oxford or Franklin Counties are eligible for the Mahoosuc Region Youth Scholarship.  This scholarship is available for residential camps at $250.00 each for the program of your choice. This scholarship is available on a first come, first served basis.

Bryant Pond 4-H Shooting Sports Scholarship
These scholarships are available to all youths in the amount of $250.00.  Given out on a first come first served.  An can be applied toward the following programs.

STEM HUB SCHOLARSHIP: ROCKETS & ROBOTS CAMP 8/20-8/25/17 (Ages 10-13) – All have been allocated for 2017
Scholarship award $287.50, participant must meet the following criteria.

  • Receive or be primarily under the care of a family that is eligible to receive MaineCare or Free and Reduced School lunch benefits.
  • Reside in one of the following STEM hub communities: Addison, Alna, Beals, Bremen, Bristol, Cutler, Damariscotta, East Machias, Harrington, Harrison, Hebron, Jefferson, Jonesport, Machias, Millbridge, Newcastle, Nobleboro, Norway, Otisfield, Oxford, Paris, South Bristol, Waterford, Wesley, West Paris, Whitefield, and Whiting.

 

L. L. Bean Inc. Conservation Partner Scholarships – All have been allocated for 2017
These funds will be awarded as follows: $1000 toward Junior Maine Guide 4-weeks (ages-14-18). Funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis; please contact us for details.
