Natural Explorer (ages 10-13)
One of our most popular conservation programs, Natural Explorer provides the curious camper an exciting introduction to many of the various activities offered at Bryant Pond. Campers will explore the woods in search of wildlife and learn about various habitats and ecosystems. They’ll wade in the stream looking for aquatic insects and other inhabitants and learn how to identify them. Activities include nature arts, archery, swimming, canoeing, and time at the challenge course. Each day, campers will also participate in outdoor skills lessons as they earn their Boater Safety Certification, sponsored by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
In cooperation with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Ages: 10-13
We encourage anyone looking for a Natural Explore program to consider a Jr. Naturalist or Naturalist camp session at our sister site Greenland Point 4-H which is located in beautiful Princeton Maine. Greenland Point offers many similar programs to Bryant Pond. |
