Day Camp Weeks

  • Chickadee (ages 6-7 )
  • King Fisher (ages 8-9)
  • Hawks (ages 10-12)

For local families looking for a day camp experience, prepare for a fun-filled week of outdoor adventure at Bryant Pond! Our Day Camp will challenge young people to reach their fullest potential through paddling, hiking, outdoor exploration, and teambuilding. On a typical day, campers arrive at  8:00 a.m., meet their instructors and head off for a teambuilding session at the ropes course, followed by a Pond Study lesson. After lunch in the Dining Hall, Day Campers paddle out into the cove for a canoe safety lesson. A Primitive Skills demonstration at campfire circle followed by group reflection time finishes the day and parents can pick up at 4:30. Other activities include Arts and Nature, Wildlife Study, tracking, hiking, and bird-watching.

Our older day campers are now able to enjoy all of the adventures of day camp, and then on Thursday, join us for a one-night overnight camp experience, complete with a cookout and campfire! Friday continues to be a full day of fun with a closing ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

“My stepson came home yesterday covered in dirt from head to toe, and so happy about his week at camp. We thought his experience at Bryant Pond last year couldn’t be beat, but somehow you pulled it off. Thanks for providing our son and others with meaningful education, amazing mentors, new perspectives, and of course, fun.” — Summer Camp Parent
