The 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond is located on Lake Christopher in beautiful Western Maine. Lake Christopher is home to a bountiful amount of wildlife including loons, turtles, and bald eagles. Our expansive waterfront includes space for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The main campus features 170 acres of forest and mountain trails which lead up to a scenic overlook of the surrounding area as well as onsite streams and ponds for critter catching.
Within our camp facility, our low ropes and high ropes course give participants the chance to work together on their leadership and teamwork skills. In addition to that our facility boasts a large recreation field for games and activities as well as rifle, shotgun, and archery ranges for our specialized programs. The camp facilities include an expansive dining hall and a state of the art shower house as well as a large bunkhouse, hillside cabins and several campsites for campsites for remote programs.
We are looking for energetic outgoing staff who are interested in spending some time in the mountains of Maine!
We provide camps to introduce children to a unique blend of outdoor fun, environmental education, and practical outdoor skills for over 50 years. Surrounded by Maine’s sparkling lakes and diverse forests, our programs combine inspired fun and experiential education with the development of outdoor skills, offering outdoor-based education for people of all ages and backgrounds. Learning to care for our natural world and for ourselves outdoors are our most important goals.

Immediate openings for a full time cook! We are looking for a energetic quality-oriented team players to join our team. Position available is the breakfast and lunch shift up to 40 hours per week. Prior kitchen experience preferred with basic knowledge of food prep and sanitation standards. Seasonal employment positions are available though the end of October as well as summer-only from July to August.
