In Long lake Paddling Adventures, campers will learn how to successfully plan and lead a canoe trip, one of Maine’s most favored traditions! We’ll focus on effective paddling and how to plan a trip. This will include cooking outdoors, map and compass, fire building, and a great deal of skills that Maine Guides use each day. This includes fishing, which this region is famous for! Campers will learn self-reliance as well as team building as they work with their group to plan their trip. The week will be celebrated with a 2 day, 1 night overnight at a remote campsite on Long Lake, returning with enough time to join us for cookout and campfire on Thursday evening!
