Post-Secondary Scholarships

Post-secondary scholarships are available to past and present members of Penobscot County 4-H thanks to the generous support of the Penobscot County 4-H Leaders’ Association. Recipients must complete an application, submit all required paperwork, and meet criteria in order to be eligible for a scholarship.

Camp and Program Scholarships

The Penobscot County 4-H Leader’s Association awards scholarships to Penobscot 4-H members for 4-H and non-4-H summer camps and other programs. For more information, see the Penobscot County Campership Application.

There are also two other ways to fund your 4-H Camp & Learning Center experience:

4-H Foundation Scholarships

The Maine 4-H Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Maine 4-H program. Each year the Foundation provides funding for 4-H legacy and new programs. Our legacy programs include the Karen Hatch Gagne National 4-H Congress Award, the Harold H. Brown Eastern States Award, as well as the Maine 4-H Foundation Endowment Funds held to secure annual support to National 4-H Conference and Congress, Citizenship Washington Focus, Eastern States, Maine 4-H Days, and
4-H at the University of Maine. In addition, volunteers, 4-H youth members, and staff are invited during the year to apply for additional funding for new and innovative projects.
