Farmers’ Market Gleaning

The mission of Maine Harvest for Hunger is to connect fresh, locally-grown produce with food pantries, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens that provide food to those in need. Work with a team of one or two other volunteers to weigh, record, and pick up donations from local farmers’ markets every Saturday from June-October and promptly deliver donated produce to food pantries, shelters or other agencies supporting food insecure populations.
