Garden Volunteer Day at Tanglewood

May 31 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Calling all gardeners and green thumbs!

Come spend the afternoon gardening at Tanglewood 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Lincolnville! Tanglewood’s gardens provide educational opportunities for youth, as well as fresh food for our Harvest for Health programming. This event will focus on preparing our gardens for the summer growing season, as well as making connections among gardeners in the community. We will take a tour of Tanglewood and explore the various gardens and educational spaces. Volunteers interested in ongoing volunteer opportunities are welcome!

What to bring: Volunteers should bring water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray and garden gloves.

We will provide tools and bug nets, but feel free to bring your own. We’ll also have refreshments and snacks to share.

Contact Megan at 207.322.3257 or email megan.moroney@maine.edu to RSVP or with any questions.
