Blueberry Cove Summer Camp
Located in St. George, Maine
Right by the water in Tenants Harbor, Blueberry Cove is a beautiful coastal setting for summer camp providing swimming beaches, tide flats, forests, meadows, gardens, and a harbor and islands to explore.
Emphasis is on community living and sustainable agriculture, with campers working in and snacking from the 1/2-acre organic veggie garden.
Twenty-five acres overlooking Tenants Harbor, 1400 feet of protected ocean frontage, sleeping cabins nestled in a mature spruce forest, meadows, gardens, a fleet of boats, and spectacular field trips within 10 minutes of camp, who could ask for more? Campers will find the simple yet profound joys of their grandparents’ youth: hiking to see a full moon rise from the ocean, running through a meadow lit with fireflies, feeling the wind on their faces as they learn to sail, and more. Youth who explore and experience nature in a way that engages their whole being will become adults who want to care for and protect our natural world.
