Business Planning for Producers
WALDO, Maine – The 2024-2025 Business Planning for Producers cohort included 20 aspiring, new, and beginning farmers, including four participants from Waldo County. Since 2023, eight new and beginning farmers in Waldo County have participated in this introductory business planning course, with 50% completing a business plan and qualifying for USDA Farm Service Agency borrowers’ training credit.
