In these uncertain times, it is important to understand how to price your business service or product to improve your bottom line. Jim McConnon, UMaine Extension Business & Economics Specialist, and Louis Bassano, Extension Educator will be the presenters of the session designed for those who are considering starting a business as well as those already in business.
Which products or services are making a profit? What happens if you set the price too high or too low? What wage and profit would you like to earn? How many hours a day do you estimate you work? Complete and accurate records and realistic pricing let you answer these and other key questions about the performance of your business.
Improve your odds of success by learning all you can. Make decisions based on research. Take time to be informed.
Any person who needs accommodations to attend this program should contact Louis Bassano at 1-800-287-1542 to discuss their needs or call Extension’s TDD number at 1-800-287-8957. To provide adequate time to respond to your request please provide as much notice as possible.
