UMaine Extension Senior Companion Volunteers Recognized

University of Maine Cooperative Extension Senior Companion Program recently recognized 21 volunteers for their service to Washington County residents. The Senior Companion Program is a volunteer opportunity for those ages 55 and older to visit homebound adults. Volunteers provide companionship and do activities to combat loneliness and increase independence.
