UMaine Extension to offer Cooking Matters for Parents
Machias, Maine—University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a free nutrition education program to adults with children living at home beginning Sept. 18, from 5-7 p.m., at the UMaine Extension office, 28 Center Street, Machias. Classes meet each Wednesday through Oct. 23.
Topics include nutritional information, how to plan and prepare healthy meals, and sampling budget-friendly recipes. Participants will receive ingredients to take home at the end of each class.
