4-H members will have the opportunity to present either a demonstration or an illustrated talk. In a 4-H demonstration, the youth shows how to do something while telling how it’s done. In a 4-H illustrated talk, the youth gives information about a subject and uses visuals to explain the subject.
All youth in the junior and senior divisions (ages 9 to 18 in 4-H years) participating in this tournament who receive an average score of 78 or higher, are invited to compete at the Maine State 4-H Public Speaking Tournament to be held in Orono on April 6, 2019.
The general public is invited to attend.
