4-H Science Friday- Eclipse Investigations

4-H Youth Development Professional, Gabrielle Brodek, will help youth explore solar eclipses in anticipation of future events.  Through hands-on activities, youth will investigate the sun, moon and Earth by creating solar system models to learn more about this phenomenon.  Geared toward youth ages 10-15 and limited to 10 participants. Sheep 101 Class

The workshop is designed for new sheep farmers and others wanting to learn more about sheep breed selection, husbandry, health, nutrition, reproduction, housing, and handling. Extension assistant professor and state livestock specialist Colt Knight will also provide insight on the lamb market in the U.S. The workshop concludes with a freshly prepared leg of lamb lunch and carving demonstration.
