Dog
The Maine 4-H Dog Program is open to all youth ages 5-18. Dog ownership is not necessary to participate in a 4-H dog club or 4-H dog events, although it is encouraged. The Maine 4-H Dog Program offers opportunities for youth to gain knowledge from curriculum, record their experiences, and work with dogs supported by 4-H adult volunteers. The Maine 4-H Dog Program offers project work at the club level, regional clinics, dog shows, and participation at the Eastern States Exposition (ESE) for youth age 12 through 18 who qualify.
