April 13 and 21, 2023: Bud Development

Below is this week’s update on bud development in crop fields. T3 and T4 showed up before seeing T2 in some locations. There is a lot of variation between plants and fields right now. I encourage you to check out your own fields to see how they are progressing. Lily will be away the week of April 24, 2023, so please rely on Seanna for mummy berry spray timing.

Prune field shoot emergence was observed in Warren, Aurora, Jonesboro and Northfield. Fields across the state except for the most eastern parts of Washington county were hit by temperatures ranging from 24 to 28F on May 17-18th.
