Thursday, June 16, 5:00-6:30 PM: Dividing Perennials & Irrigation for Vegetable Gardens
Come experience the grounds at Tidewater Farm, learn about what we do, and engage with the gardens through hands-on demonstrations with UMaine Extension Staff and Master Gardener Volunteers. Demonstrations begin at 5:30 PM. This event is FREE and open to the public – no registration required.
Participate in a hands-on demonstration of when and how to properly divide perennials in the spring and take home a small plant of your own to enjoy. Then, we’ll learn about best practices and techniques for how to water your vegetable garden with an emphasis on drip irrigation.
