Honeybee Diseases & Pests-Falmouth

February 5th & 12th. This two-night class focused on Honeybee Colony health management through IPM strategies. This class will focus on understanding the organisms that pose threats to colony health, early identification of symptoms, and creating a whole system approach to colony health management that works with the bee’s natural habits. Students will learn how to identify symptoms within single colonies and whole apiaries, proactively develop apiary management strategies and use “all of the tools in the toolbox” to keep productive, healthy, thriving honeybee colonies.
