Educators and volunteers, come learn how to start and sustain a vegetable garden at your school! Find out about the resources and technical support available in getting your garden started and learn about ways to incorporate the gardens in your school curriculum! Join Heather Whitaker and Pamela Hargest in a discussion about creating a school garden in Maine and the challenges schools face in sustaining their gardening projects.
Instructors: Heather Whitaker is an Alternative Education Teacher and Master Gardener, who is the coordinator and lead educator for the Gorham Middle School Gardens. Pamela Hargest is a Horticulturist for UMaine Cooperative Extension in Cumberland County.

No refunds or credits of any payment will be made for notification of withdrawal within 5 days of the start of the class. Prior to that time, we will refund your registration fee minus a $5 service fee. Course and material fees will be refunded in full if a class is cancelled.
