Make and use chutney, a unique, flavor-filled condiment. You’ll learn the basic steps for canning and freezing in this hands-on food preservation workshop. You will receive recipes and a jar of apple chutney. Please bring a potholder with you to class. $20 class fee. $5 paid during registration and $15 cash per person payable directly to instructor for materials.

Instructor Sheri Fistal, Master Gardener and Master Food Preserver, will lead this workshop, where participants will learn how to safely preserve fresh fruits and vegetables and will leave the workshop with a jar of Sheri's own Dutch Apple Jam to enjoy.
