
Cucumber Canoes
Make snack time fun and healthy with our Cucumber Canoes, a delightful treat for children. Simply fill mini cucumbers with low-fat cottage cheese and serve with crunchy veggie sticks for a nutritious and interactive snack they'll love.
Ingredients
- 6 mini cucumbers
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- carrot, celery, or broccoli pieces
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- Gently rub produce under cold running water. Scrub firm produce with a clean vegetable brush under cold running water.
- Slice the cucumbers in half lengthwise. Scoop the seeds out with a spoon.
- Fill the cucumber canoe with cottage cheese and add the carrot, celery, or broccoli pieces.
Storage
- Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
- Use leftovers within 4 days.
