Frozen Yogurt Bark

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fruit (canned, fresh, or frozen), chopped or sliced
  • 2 cups nonfat vanilla yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • granola, crushed cereal, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water.
  • If you are using canned fruit, drain the juice.
  • Line a 9×12 baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
  • Add fruit, yogurt, and cinnamon (optional) to a bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour the yogurt mixture evenly into the tray.
  • Sprinkle additional toppings (optional).
  • Place the tray in the freezer for at least 3 hours or until the yogurt is frozen.
  • Remove from the tray and break the bark into pieces or use a sharp knife to cut into 2×2 inch pieces.

Storage

  • Leftovers can be frozen in freezer-grade containers or bags and used within 3 to 4 months for best quality.

Notes

  • Vanilla yogurt can be substituted with unflavored yogurt to reduce sugar.
  • If you decide not to use Greek yogurt, the protein amount will decrease.
