
Fruit Salad
This Fruit Salad is perfect for summer with its mix of refreshing fruits like apples, mandarin oranges, bananas, pineapple, and grapes. It's a light and hydrating dish ideal for staying cool during hot days.
Ingredients
- 5 medium apples
- 3 small mandarin oranges
- 2 small bananas
- 20 ounces canned pineapple chunks
- 1 cup grapes
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water. Scrub firm fresh produce with a clean vegetable brush under cold running water.
- Core and slice apples.
- Drain pineapple chunks, save the juice.
- Peel and slice bananas.
- Peel mandarin oranges and break them into sections.
- Cut grapes in half.
- Mix fruits together with pineapple juice.
- Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Storage
- Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
- Use leftovers within 4 days.
