Fruit Salad

This Fruit Salad is perfect for summer with its mix of refreshing fruits like apples, mandarin oranges, bananas, pineapple, and grapes. It's a light and hydrating dish ideal for staying cool during hot days.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 medium apples
  • 3 small mandarin oranges
  • 2 small bananas
  • 20 ounces canned pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup grapes

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water. Scrub firm fresh produce with a clean vegetable brush under cold running water.
  • Core and slice apples.
  • Drain pineapple chunks, save the juice.
  • Peel and slice bananas.
  • Peel mandarin oranges and break them into sections.
  • Cut grapes in half.
  • Mix fruits together with pineapple juice.
  • Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
  • Use leftovers within 4 days.
