Whole Grain Master Mix

Ingredients
2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
3⁄4 cup nonfat dry milk powder (optional)
1⁄2 cup oats
1⁄2 cup cornmeal
3 Tablespoons baking powder
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Stir together flours, dry milk, oats, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl.
- Cut in oil with pastry blender or two knives or use clean hands to blend the mixture until it looks like coarse cornmeal.
- Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid in a cool place.
NOTE: To measure Master Mix when using it in recipes, stir first, then pile the Master Mix into a cup and level off with a knife. The Whole-Grain Master Mix will help you add fiber to your diet.

Store Whole-Grain Master Mix in a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid, in a cool place.
