University of Maine 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Greenland Point

The Naturalist Path programs combine high energy, inquisitive fun and exploration of the natural ecology that surrounds us. There are endless opportunities to explore various habitats, observe and seek signs of wildlife, identify trees and birds, and so much more. Our campers soon learn that everything is connected in the natural world and through various lessons and actives, we begin to make direct connections ourselves on how we fit into the natural world. 

 

Each individual program has different goals and activities designed to stimulate the sense of wonder and increase the understanding of our interdependence with nature. Whether it’s from a canoe, along the hiking trail, or along the shoreline or vernal pool, nature surrounds us. It’s even more exciting when we learn more about what lives here.
