Web Team “Office Hours”
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension Web Team – a.k.a. Michelle and Matt – are pleased to announce weekly, dedicated office hours to be offered in half hour increments every Thursday morning (10:00–11:00 a.m.) and afternoon (2:00-3:00 p.m.).

Why “Office Hours”?
These sessions are designed to provide Extension staff members with scheduled access to Extension’s web experts, who are able to offer personalized support and guidance on a variety of web-related topics. Whether you need assistance with web section and/or page creation, updating, troubleshooting, or simply want a quick “refresher” course in a specific web task or practice that’ll enhance our online presence, Extension’s Web Team is here to help. We look forward to fostering a collaborative and productive environment where your web needs can be addressed efficiently and effectively.
These “Office Hours” appointments can be scheduled for:
- Discussion of digital communications projects, new or existing, including:
- Help with Extension’s websites, web pages or posts (technical questions about the web, posting content to the web, proofing web pages, policies and best web practices, ADA compliance)
- Email marketing efforts (mailing lists and templates within Extension’s MailChimp account)
- Video prep and editing for YouTube upload
- Gravity Form set-up consultation
- Brief, “refresher” web editing or email marketing training
- Troubleshooting a web, email marketing, or video issue
- User data for your web page(s) or site
It is our hope that these regular office hours also help build stronger relationships, enhance communication, and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly, benefiting the overall digital strategy of UMaine Extension.
Wondering How to Schedule a Time Slot During Extension Web Team’s Office Hours?
How to Schedule an Appointment with the Extension Web Team:

- Select a date and time that works for you, enter your email address, and click “Book.”
- Once you’ve scheduled an appointment, you’ll receive an email from Matt Thomas (indicated as the “Sender”) with a Zoom link/Google Calendar entry that you can save to your calendar.
- Matt or Michelle will also receive this entry on their calendars and will email you a message through the Google Calendar entry to check to see what the topic for discussion will be.
- You’ll automatically receive a Google Calendar notification 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment as a reminder.
- To cancel any scheduled appointment, all you need to do is open the Google Calendar entry and press “Cancel.”
