Sheep 101 Class

The workshop is designed for new sheep farmers and others wanting to learn more about sheep breed selection, husbandry, health, nutrition, reproduction, housing, and handling. Extension assistant professor and state livestock specialist Colt Knight will also provide insight on the lamb market in the U.S. The workshop concludes with a freshly prepared leg of lamb lunch and carving demonstration.
