Strawberries mean it’s summertime in Maine. Learn to prepare and preserve strawberry jam using less sugar with University of Maine Cooperative Extension staff and Master Food Preserver volunteers. We will learn how to safely preserve strawberries by canning using the boiling water bath method and freezing. Participants will receive recipes and a jar of jam. Please bring a potholder with you to class.
