Free Nutrition and Cooking Classes at Cousens School 2024

This 6-week, nutrition and cooking class is a collaborative effort between the University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and Cooking Matters. EFNEP is free to eligible parents and caregivers with children in the household. Registration is required, so be sure to sign up at the bottom of this page!

Why sign up?

  • You will learn about choosing healthy foods, food budgeting, meal planning, food safety, cooking tips, and more.
  • FREE cooking tools and a cookbook.
  • Participants who attend at least 4 classes will receive a $10 Hannaford gift card.
  • Participants who attend the store tour will receive a $10 Hannaford gift card.

Class Details

  • When: 5:30 – 6:30 pm Thursdays, April 25 and May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
  • Location: Cousens School, 12 Day St., Kennebunk, ME 04043
  • Pre-registration and attendance to all classes are required.
