
Grapes with Ginger Topping
Add a little fun and flavor into a classic snack with this Grapes with Ginger Topping recipe! By combining the crisp sweetness of grapes with the zesty kick of ginger and a hint of sweetness from yogurt, it delivers a delightful burst of flavor.
Ingredients
- 6 cups seedless grapes
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ cup lowfat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ground cinnamon (optional)
- 4 fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water.
- In a large bowl, toss grapes with ginger.
Repeat for each serving
- Add 1-½ cups of grape mixture to a dish.
- Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt on top of the grapes.
- Add 1-½ teaspoons of brown sugar on top of the yogurt.
- Add a dusting of ground cinnamon on top of brown sugar (optional).
- Garnish with 1 fresh mint leaf (optional).
- Allow desserts to chill in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
