Grapes with Ginger Topping

Add a little fun and flavor into a classic snack with this Grapes with Ginger Topping recipe! By combining the crisp sweetness of grapes with the zesty kick of ginger and a hint of sweetness from yogurt, it delivers a delightful burst of flavor.

Servings 4 1-½ cups

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups seedless grapes
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ cup lowfat plain yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 4 fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water.
  • In a large bowl, toss grapes with ginger.

Repeat for each serving

  • Add 1-½ cups of grape mixture to a dish.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt on top of the grapes.
  • Add 1-½ teaspoons of brown sugar on top of the yogurt.
  • Add a dusting of ground cinnamon on top of brown sugar (optional).
  • Garnish with 1 fresh mint leaf (optional).
  • Allow desserts to chill in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
