Yogurt Fruit Parfait

This Yogurt Fruit Parfait recipe offers a delicious and nutritious treat that's perfect for breakfast, snack time, or even dessert. Layering creamy yogurt with fresh fruits and crunchy granola creates a delightful combination of flavors and textures, making it a satisfying and nutritious option for any time of day.

Servings 1 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt (regular, Greek, or non-dairy)
  • ¼ cup ¼-inch chopped fruit (canned, fresh, or frozen)
  • ¼ cup breakfast cereal or Three Ingredient Granola

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Gently rub fresh produce under cold running water or place fresh berries in a colander and rinse under cold running water.
  • Make Three Ingredient Granola (optional).
  • Choose a tall cup or container.
  • Build the parfait by layering ingredients based on preference.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.

Notes

  • Winter months are the time to enjoy fresh citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, and clementines. Frozen berries and peaches make great replacements for fresh fruit.
