Conservation Camp Archery

Are you interested in becoming a bowhunter? Being successful takes patience, skill, and knowledge in the woods. Campers will receive hands-on practice in survival, first aid, map and compass, and archery. There will also be lessons on camouflage, treestands, shot placement, tracking, and Landowner Relations. Campers will also be able to enjoy other camp activities including swimming, canoeing, fire building, and much more.
New for 2024 crossbow will now be tied into the normal bow hunters safety class. Pratisapents will have the opportunity to learn about crossbow use and hunting with crossbows.
All youth who want to participate in the archery hunting season are required to complete a bowhunter course to obtain their license at the age of 16.
