Hello, I’m Doug Babkirk of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

After working closely with the Maine 4-H Foundation and our Extension administration, I am pleased to present the new guidelines for exploring and securing external funding from major donors and corporate sponsors.

We have worked with the University of Maine Office of Development to develop a simple and easy process for you to consider when exploring and pursuing individual, community and corporate partners who want to support our Extension programs.

The University’s Office of Development staff and I are available to support you individually or as part of a collegial team working toward a funding goal. The specifics of what this support can look like are outlined here.

We welcome your comments and feedback on the new funding guidelines, and look forward to working with you in support of Extension initiatives and the difference they make in people’s lives. Thank you.
