General Information
Tanglewood is located in Lincolnville, a small town between Camden and Belfast in Midcoast Maine. See detailed directions. We are located within the boundaries of Camden Hills State Park. We have 12 miles of hiking trails (foot traffic only), catch and release fly fishing, playing fields, camp fire sites and a small outdoor amphitheater. The Ducktrap is great for a refreshing swim! If your group wishes to swim in the river, you must provide your own certified lifeguard(s). Suitability of the river for swimming varies with water level, and your lifeguard should survey for natural hazards below the surface.
Because Tanglewood is located within the State Park alcohol is not permitted and we are a non-smoking facility. Fires are allowed only in designated fireplaces, stoves or fire pits. Tanglewood does not permit dogs as we host staff, guests and campers who may have allergies, and we also wish to protect the area’s wildlife from interference.
Meeting spaces
Tanglewood’s centrally located Dining Hall is our main indoor space. The building, which dates from the 1930s, has a 75–100 person capacity and is equipped with both a fireplace and wood stove. It is connected to Tanglewood’s kitchen facility, and borders a large lawn where our 70-seat amphitheater and a small campfire circle are located. Smaller meeting/breakout spaces are also available. Wireless internet is available in the Dining Hall.

Our accommodations are comprised of six heated lodges/cabins, with a total capacity of 100, and ten unheated cabins, with a total capacity of 100.
