Head Cook

Your position will be based at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Tenants Harbor, Maine.  The Head cook works as a team and with the director in ordering food, creating schedules, and ensuring the kitchen is kept at Maine State health code standards. You will be responsible for preparing 1-2 meals per day for the camp community and ensuring the dietary needs of everyone at camp are met.

  • Part-time, temporary position, June-August 2026
  • Salary is $22.08-$23.31/hour based on experience, paid in bi-weekly installments.

Assistant Cook

Your position will be based at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Tenants Harbor, Maine. Kitchen assistants work closely with the Head Cook to ensure the dietary needs of everyone at camp are met, supporting with food prep and dishwashing tasks.

Dishwasher

Camp Overnight Camp Counselors are vital to creating a positive and engaging camp experience by actively interacting with campers throughout daily activities, lessons, and meals. Overnight Camp Counselors live with campers and, alongside a co-counselor, facilitate both structured and recreational activities.  Overnight Camp Counselors work a full summer schedule from June 14, 2026  to August 14, 2026.  Overnight Camp Counselors reside on-site with campers throughout the season, with structured time off each week.

You will guide participants in developing leadership styles, enhancing communication skills, and fostering group cohesion, all while emphasizing environmental education and ethics.  Overnight Camp Counselors work a full summer schedule from June 10, 2026 to August 14, 2026. Overnight Camp Counselors reside on-site with campers throughout the season, with structured time off each week.

Junior Day Camp Counselors have the option to reside on-site throughout the season depending on their age, grade and distance from home.

Summer Camp Coordinator

This position will be based at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Tenants Harbor,  Maine.  You’ll work a full schedule from May 4th to late September. You will reside on-site throughout the seasons, with structured time off each week. You will serve as the Director on Duty during times when the Director is off grounds; sharing overnight responsibilities with the leadership team.

Program Coordinator-Health Care Provider

This position will be based at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Tenants Harbor,  Maine. This position would be working with 1-2 people caregiving for campers and staff in a rustic summer camp with a health care center. This position’s essential duties are to work closely with the Director and camp administration to ensure a successful summer program for both counselors and campers. Each week will vary in duties and intensity depending on which programs are in camp, medical needs of the campers and staff, and where support is needed.  As a staff support team member, you will play a crucial role in mentoring best practices for maintaining participant safety and wellness, and staff wellness. You are the first responder in the event of a healthcare emergency, regardless of time or place, with a team of trained staff to support you when necessary. Time management and the ability to work independently at times are necessary. You will reside on-site throughout the season, with structured time off each week.  This is a full-time position from June to August in conjunction with another healthcare provider. Work hours can be flexible when working to meet camp needs during that time frame.

  • Stipend range $900 – $1200/week for up to 10 weeks, including paid training, paid in bi-weekly installments

Program Coordinator-Aquatics Coordinator

You will be based at the Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Tenants Harbor, Maine. You would be working with the Leadership team and camp counselors to ensure a fun and safe environment at summer camp.  Each week will vary in duties and intensity depending on which programs are in camp and where support is needed.  As a staff support team member, you will play a crucial role in mentoring best practices for maintaining program quality, and participant and staff safety and wellness. Time management and the ability to work independently at times are necessary.  You would work a full summer schedule from June 10, 2026 to August 14, 2026. You will reside on-site with campers throughout the season, with structured time off each week.

  • Stipend range $5000-$5500 for 10 weeks, including paid training, paid in bi-weekly installments

Outdoor Educator, (academic year)
