April 16 @ 8:30 am - April 19 @ 3:30 pm

| $250.00

April Vacation at Tanglewood: April 16-19 (Tuesday – Friday)

group of students with backpacks on looking at the ground

What’s happening at the April vacation camp this year?

At Tanglewood, we love the changing seasons and all the learning opportunities! Programming will focus on STEAM-based, hands-on experiences while weaving in team-building skills that children can take into the world.  Additional activities will vary on age but could include time on our archery range, fire building, creative arts, and exploration as weather allows!

Ages: 5-12

Sample Schedule

8:30 – Drop off. We will confirm the drop-off/pick-up site before the start of the program. Tanglewood Road can be challenging in the mud season. We may look to shuttle participants from our Headquarters at 1 Tanglewood Road to minimize traffic on the road.

8:45 – Opening circle, Nature Sightings, welcome, and warm-up group game

8:45-9:00 – Gather into individual learning groups for the morning (7-10 kids per group)

9:00-11:30 – Group activities that may include: Kite building, fairy house/shelter building, pond scooping, and hiking to our (small) waterfalls to race boats.

11:30-12:00 – Lunch and story time

12:00-12:30 – Free time to hang out in our dining hall, lawn, or field

12:30-1:45 – First elective activity

1:45-2:00 – Snack break

2:00-3:00 – Second elective activity

3:00-3:15 – Closing circle

3:30 – Pick up. Location to be determined
