Sample Maine 4-H Public Speaking Presentations

These videos are designed to help youth, parents, 4-H leaders, and evaluators as examples of “Blue,” “Red,” and “White” presentations. Use these as guides as you prepare your presentation and prepare to evaluate the presentations of others.

For each video, there is a sample Evaluation sheet, meant to represent what the youth would actually expect to receive after presenting.

Finally, the “Evaluator’s Scoring Explanation” documents list specific notes relevant to each video (what was missing/needed improvement/was exceptional). These may or may not be included on the youth’s Evaluation sheet.
