5.04.20 Mummy berry infection period in Waldoboro and West Rockport areas May 4th
There were conditions for mummy berry infection periods at our Waldoboro and West Rockport weather stations on May 4th night. In Waldoboro, the infection period started May 4 at approximately 9 pm and at West Rockport approximately at 7pm. They were the only weather stations that experienced long enough wet conditions for an infection period.
If you have a field in these areas and applied fungicide after April 27th, your field was protected during this infection period. If you have not applied fungicides, if you can apply propiconazole or fenbuconazole before Thursday May 7th evening, you are likely will decrease the infection in your field.
