Tanglewood Day Camps, Ages 5-10
Summer camp is the best thing ever, and the day camp programs at Tanglewood allow campers to interact with other young folks while forming a connection to the world around them. All programs feature small groups (10 – 12 children) and 2 – 3 leaders with experience working with youth in outdoor education. Campers make discoveries and learn about making choices under the guidance of caring leaders.
Sprouts, Seedlings, and Saplings
Tanglewood’s day camps are unique experiences designed for 5-10-year-olds. Programs feature nature connection, creative arts, practical skill-building, and social-skill building.
Campers are grouped by age (Sprouts: 5-6, Seedlings: 6-7, and Saplings: 8-10) with activities and games tailored to meet development needs. Each morning begins with a morning circle and snack before departing for a daily adventure. All day campers will have the opportunity to experience activities and adventures that make camp at Tanglewood unique and special throughout the week.
